Cruise Passenger Concierge · Tender-Side · Same-Day
Cruise Passenger Doctor & Pharmacy in Cabo San Lucas
Cruise stops in Cabo are short. The ship arrives by tender in the morning, passengers have most of the day on shore, and everyone needs to be back aboard before the final boarding call. If you need a doctor, a prescription refill, or an IV during the stop, the timeline does not allow for a wrong turn. Our concierge is built for that window — same-day, dockside-aware, with delivery and pickup timed to the ship's schedule.
How cruise passenger concierge is structured
Most cruise stops in Cabo run from mid-morning to late afternoon. The ship anchors offshore and tenders passengers in at the Cabo San Lucas marina (Solomon's Landing area). The window for any shoreside medical visit is realistically 4 to 6 hours, with the firm deadline of last tender. The concierge plans the visit inside that window.
If you message us before tender-in (from the ship the night before or as you wake up), we can have a doctor visit scheduled or a pharmacy delivery staged for the moment you step onto the dock. If something comes up during the day (an injury at a beach club, a stomach bug that hits at lunch), we dispatch from our downtown base in 30 to 45 minutes. All visits include English documentation that the ship's medical team can keep on file.
Pharmacy & Doctors operates under COFEPRIS pharmacy authorization #05-022-B and runs the concierge 24/7.
What cruise concierge handles
Scope is matched to the cruise-stop window — practical, fast, documented.
Same-Day Doctor Visit
English-speaking, Mexican-licensed MD for stomach bugs, infections, sunburn, sutures, prescription continuations, and second opinions during the cruise stop. Visit happens at a nearby property or a coordinated location.
Pharmacy Refill & OTC Delivery
Refill of a medication that was forgotten or used up on the cruise (with a doctor consult where required), plus OTC essentials and traveler's diarrhea kits delivered to a dockside meeting point.
IV Hydration & Hangover
For passengers who arrived in Cabo dehydrated or hungover, a registered nurse can run an IV at a nearby location coordinated through the concierge. Most sessions complete inside 60 minutes including setup.
English Documentation for the Ship
Every visit produces an English written care plan, prescription summary, and copy of the invoice — suitable for the ship's medical team and for travel-insurance reimbursement.
How a cruise dispatch is timed
The clock is the most important variable. We plan around it.
- Message us before or at tender-in. WhatsApp the concierge with your ship, your tender-in time, your last-tender deadline, and what you need. Pre-tender messages give us the most flexibility.
- We confirm a visit window. A coordinator schedules the doctor or courier well inside your boarding deadline. For doctor visits we coordinate a location (a nearby property, a coordinated meeting point, or a short cab ride from the marina).
- Care is delivered and documented. The visit happens, the prescription is filled if needed, the documentation is shared with you in English, and you are back at the dock well before last tender.
Service area: Cabo San Lucas tender port and surrounding base
The cruise concierge runs out of the Cabo San Lucas downtown base — same dispatch network as our marina yacht concierge. Doctor visits and IV sessions can be coordinated at properties near the marina (Tesoro, Hacienda Beach Club, Bahia, Marina Fiesta), at nearby Pedregal residences, or at a coordinated meeting point near Solomon's Landing. Pharmacy delivery is brought directly to the dockside meeting point or a property of your choice.
If your cruise stops in San José del Cabo instead (Puerto Los Cabos), the concierge dispatches there with the same timing structure.
COFEPRIS-licensed, ship-compatible documentation
Every physician is Mexican-licensed and works in English. Every prescription is issued only after the in-person consultation. We do not deliver controlled substances on a request basis; for cruise passengers on controlled medications who have run out, the safer path is the ship's medical center or a return-to-home plan with the home prescriber.
Our pharmacy operates under COFEPRIS #05-022-B (printed on our home page). Invoices and care plans are issued in English for the ship's medical team and for travel-insurance reimbursement. Payment at the time of service is by card or transfer.
Doctor or pharmacy delivery during your Cabo cruise stop
WhatsApp the concierge as soon as you know you need care — ideally before tender-in. We confirm a visit window that respects your boarding time, dispatch the physician or courier, and document everything for the ship's medical team.
Questions guests ask
- Can a doctor really see me during a cruise stop?
- Yes. Same-day cruise passenger visits are routine for us. The key is messaging the concierge as early as possible — before tender-in if you can — so we can lock the visit window well inside your last-tender deadline.
- Where does the doctor see me — at the dock?
- The visit happens at a property near the marina (Tesoro, Hacienda Beach Club, Bahia, Marina Fiesta or similar), at a coordinated meeting point near Solomon's Landing, or at any property you can reach in a short cab ride. Pharmacy delivery is brought directly to the dockside meeting point or a property of your choice.
- Can you refill a medication I ran out of on the ship?
- For non-controlled medications, yes — typically through a same-day consult with our concierge physician, who issues a Mexican prescription where clinically appropriate, followed by pharmacy delivery. Controlled medications are handled by the ship's medical center, not by us.
- Will the ship's medical team accept the documentation?
- Yes. We issue English-language care plans and prescription summaries that the ship's medical center can keep on file. Many cruise lines specifically want shore-side medical visits documented this way.
- What if I miss the last tender because I needed care?
- Tell the concierge as soon as the situation looks tight and we will help — including coordinating with the ship's agent if needed. We plan visits to keep you well inside the deadline so this rarely happens.
