English-Speaking Concierge Doctor in Los Cabos

For US, Canadian, and European guests in Cabo, language is the second issue — the first is getting a doctor at all in a foreign country, after hours, without bouncing through a hospital admissions desk. Our concierge solves both at the same time: a Mexican-licensed, English-speaking physician comes to your villa, suite, or yacht, completes the consultation in English, and leaves a written care plan and prescription in English.

Why English matters when you are sick in Cabo

When you are not feeling well in a country you do not live in, language is not a detail. Symptoms are easier to describe in your own words, prescriptions are easier to understand in English, and decisions about whether to wait, treat, or go to a hospital are easier to make when there is no translation gap. Our physicians are Mexican-licensed and operate in English with US, Canadian, British, and European guests every day.

Every consultation produces an English written care plan: diagnosis or working diagnosis, treatment recommendations, prescription details (generic and Mexican brand names), red-flag symptoms to watch for, and follow-up timing. The same document doubles as the support paperwork for travel-medical insurance reimbursement after the trip.

Pharmacy & Doctors operates under COFEPRIS pharmacy authorization #05-022-B and is on call 24/7 across Los Cabos.

What an English-speaking concierge consult covers

The format is the same as a private primary-care visit at home — only it happens in your hotel or villa.

In-English Consult

30–45 minute private consultation conducted entirely in English. History, focused exam, and clear plain-language explanation of what is happening.

English Care Plan & Rx

Written summary in English: diagnosis, treatment, prescription (generic + Mexican brand), red flags, and follow-up. Same document supports insurance reimbursement.

Prescriptions Filled Same Visit

Mexican prescription issued in person. COFEPRIS-licensed pharmacy dispatches the medication to your room, with English-language dosing instructions.

Coordination with Home MD

If you need it, the physician will write an English referral letter for your primary doctor at home, including labs, imaging, and clinical findings.

How an English-speaking visit is dispatched

Communication is in English from the first message to the final follow-up text.

  1. Reach the concierge in English. WhatsApp, call, or use the request form. The coordinator will reply in English with an arrival window and the doctor's name.
  2. The physician arrives. The MD introduces themselves in English and runs the full consultation in English. Family members can be present; questions are answered before the doctor leaves.
  3. You receive English documentation. The care plan, prescription, and any referral letter are written in English. Medication is delivered with English dosing instructions.

Service area: every property in Cabo, San José, and the Corridor

The English-speaking concierge physician is available across the full Los Cabos region: Cabo San Lucas (downtown, Médano, Pedregal, Marina, El Tezal), the Tourist Corridor (Esperanza, Las Ventanas, Montage, Chileno Bay, Cape Thompson, Nobu, Waldorf Astoria, Hilton, Westin, Marquis, JW Marriott, Hard Rock, Le Blanc, Grand Velas, Garza Blanca, and the residential corridor estates), San José del Cabo (Hotel Zone, downtown, La Playita, Puerto Los Cabos), and the gated communities at Palmilla, Querencia, Cabo del Sol, Diamante, and Quivira.

Routine dispatch into Cabo San Lucas, Médano, Pedregal, and the closer corridor properties is typically 30 to 45 minutes; San José and outer corridor, 30 to 60 minutes; Pacific-side gated communities, 40 to 70 minutes.

Mexican-licensed, COFEPRIS-regulated care

Every physician dispatched is licensed by the Mexican federal medical authority and fluent in English. Many trained at Mexican medical schools and completed elective or post-graduate work in the US, Canada, or Spain. Every prescription is issued only after an in-person consultation and is filled through our COFEPRIS-licensed pharmacy (authorization #05-022-B), never through informal channels.

For US and Canadian guests used to private healthcare, this is the practical guarantee: a real, regulated physician, a real, regulated pharmacy, and English-language documentation that your home doctor and your travel insurer can both work with.

Questions guests ask

Is the doctor really fluent in English, not just "some English"?
Yes. Every physician we dispatch can run a full medical consultation in English — symptom history, exam findings, diagnostic reasoning, prescription details, red-flag instructions. We never send a doctor who would need a guest to translate.
Can I get a written summary in English for my home doctor?
Yes. Every visit produces an English written care plan, and on request we add an English referral letter your primary-care doctor at home can use directly.
Will the prescription work at a pharmacy back home?
A Mexican prescription is generally not directly fillable in the US or Canada, but the English-language summary includes the generic drug name, dose, and rationale, which your home doctor can use to write a local prescription if continued treatment is needed.
Is the doctor licensed in Mexico, the US, or both?
Our physicians hold Mexican medical licenses (cédula profesional) — which is what is legally required to practice and prescribe in Mexico. Many also have US or international experience, but the relevant license for treating you in Cabo is the Mexican one.
What does the visit cost?
Pricing is quoted by phone or WhatsApp before the visit, based on the service requested and the address. Payment is at the time of service by card or transfer. We issue an itemized English-language invoice you can submit to your travel-medical insurer for reimbursement.
