24/7 Private House-Call Doctor to Your Villa in Cabo San Lucas

A clinic visit at midnight in a country you do not live in is the wrong answer to most symptoms. Our concierge sends a Mexican-licensed, English-speaking physician directly to your villa, suite, yacht, or rental — same-hour dispatch, day or night, anywhere across Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor.

What a house-call physician handles at your villa

The in-villa visit covers the same scope as a private clinic consultation — without you leaving the room. A typical house call lasts 30 to 45 minutes and includes a full history, a focused physical exam, on-the-spot diagnostic reasoning, a prescription where appropriate, basic in-home procedures, and a written care plan in English.

Common reasons guests call us for a house-call doctor: gastrointestinal issues and travelers' diarrhea, upper-respiratory infections and sinusitis, urinary-tract infections, sun and heat exposure, allergic reactions, minor wounds and lacerations that need cleaning or sutures, ear and throat infections, food-poisoning symptoms, dehydration, fever evaluation, second opinions on a hospital visit, and prescription continuations for travelers who left a medication at home.

For severe or potentially life-threatening symptoms (chest pain, severe bleeding, stroke signs, anaphylaxis, severe head injury, complicated pregnancy issues), we direct guests to the closest hospital first and follow up after stabilization.

What is included in a private villa visit

Every house-call dispatch carries the standard kit so the visit does not stop at "you need to come in tomorrow."

Full Consultation

30–45 minute in-room consult with a Mexican-licensed, English-speaking MD. Written care plan, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions left in English.

On-the-Spot Prescriptions

Mexican prescription issued in person where clinically indicated. Pharmacy delivery routed through our COFEPRIS-licensed pharmacy on the same visit.

Minor Procedures

Wound cleaning, basic sutures, ear/throat exam, blood-pressure and oxygen checks, glucose readings, and rapid in-home testing where appropriate.

Insurance-Friendly Invoice

Itemized English-language invoice for travel-medical insurance reimbursement (Allianz, GeoBlue, IMG, Cigna Global). Payment at time of service by card or transfer.

How a 24/7 house-call dispatch works

Day or night, the request flow is the same.

  1. Reach the concierge. WhatsApp, call, or request a visit online. Tell us your hotel and room, villa name, or yacht slip, what is happening, and the urgency.
  2. We confirm. A coordinator confirms the arrival window, the doctor's name, and any pre-visit information you should have ready (medications, allergies, recent travel).
  3. The doctor arrives at your door. The physician completes the consultation in your room, issues any prescription, performs minor procedures if needed, and coordinates pharmacy delivery before leaving.

Service area: end-to-end across Los Cabos

The 24/7 house-call service is available across the full Los Cabos area: Cabo San Lucas (downtown, Médano Beach, Pedregal, Marina), the Tourist Corridor (every major resort from Esperanza and Las Ventanas to Hilton, Westin, Marquis, Chileno Bay, Montage, Nobu, Waldorf Astoria), San José del Cabo (Hotel Zone, downtown, La Playita, Puerto Los Cabos), and the residential communities at Palmilla, Querencia, Cabo del Sol, Diamante, Quivira, and El Tezal.

Dispatch times vary by zone and time of day. Routine night dispatch into Cabo San Lucas, Médano, Pedregal, and Marina is typically 30 to 45 minutes; corridor and San José zones, 30 to 60 minutes; Pacific-side communities (Diamante, Quivira) and outlying villas, 40 to 70 minutes.

English-speaking physicians, COFEPRIS-licensed pharmacy

Every physician on call is Mexican-licensed and fluent in English. Every registered nurse on the secondary dispatch is board-certified. Prescriptions are written only after the in-person consultation and only by a licensed Mexican MD. We do not dispatch controlled substances on a request basis or stock controlled medication for delivery.

Our pharmacy operates under COFEPRIS authorization #05-022-B (printed on our home page for verification). The invoice you receive is itemized in English for international travel-medical insurance reimbursement.

Questions guests ask

Is the doctor really available 24/7?
Yes. Our concierge dispatches house-call physicians day and night, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Overnight calls and early-morning visits are routine for travelers who arrive sick or whose symptoms escalate after the local clinics have closed.
What does the doctor bring?
The physician arrives with the standard exam kit (otoscope, stethoscope, BP cuff, pulse oximeter, glucometer, thermometer), suture and wound-care supplies, basic in-home rapid tests, and prescription tools. Anything beyond the standard kit (e.g., specific IV antibiotics) is coordinated with our pharmacy on the same visit.
Can the doctor prescribe medication on the spot?
Yes. Where clinically appropriate, the physician issues a Mexican prescription during the visit. Our COFEPRIS-licensed pharmacy then dispatches the medication to your address, often before the doctor has left.
When should I go to a hospital instead?
Go to the closest hospital and call 911 for chest pain, severe bleeding, stroke symptoms (face droop, arm weakness, speech changes), anaphylaxis, severe head injury, or complicated pregnancy issues. We are happy to follow up after stabilization.
Will my travel insurance cover the visit?
Most major international travel insurers (Allianz, GeoBlue, IMG, Cigna Global) reimburse house-call visits when documented properly. We issue an itemized English-language invoice you can submit. We do not bill insurance directly; payment is at the time of service by card or transfer.
