Marina Cabo San Lucas · Yacht Medical Concierge · 24/7
Yacht Doctor, IV Therapy & Pharmacy at the Marina, Cabo San Lucas
Charter season, sportfishing weeks, owner trips down from California, and overnight stays at IGY Marina — the Cabo San Lucas marina runs on its own clock. Our concierge boards directly: a physician, registered nurse, IV drip, or prescription delivery arrives at your dock, slip, or tender, on your schedule, without dragging anyone off the boat.
A medical concierge built for yachts at Marina Cabo San Lucas
The Cabo San Lucas marina hosts everything from sportfishing day boats out of Dock 1 to private megayachts at the IGY-managed slips and visiting cruisers staying overnight on the outer fingers. Crew rotate, guests fly in and out of SJD, and a single passenger needing a doctor at 2 a.m. cannot stop the rest of the trip. Our concierge is built for exactly that situation.
An English-speaking Mexican-licensed physician boards your boat for in-cabin evaluations, prescriptions, sutures, sea-sickness treatment, and crew-injury care. A registered nurse comes aboard with an IV kit for hangover hydration, post-flight recovery, immunity, or pre-departure rehydration drips. Our COFEPRIS-licensed pharmacy delivers prescription and OTC medication to the dock or directly to the boat — including provisioning runs the day before a charter sails.
We hold COFEPRIS authorization #05-022-B and are reachable 24/7, including weekends and the high charter season.
Services delivered to your yacht
Every service we offer can be brought to the marina. We coordinate with the dock master, the boat captain, or directly with the owner or charter agent.
Onboard Doctor Visit
Mexican-licensed, English-speaking MDs board for symptom evaluation, sea-sickness care, suture and wound care for crew injuries, prescriptions, and second opinions. Dispatch from downtown: 30 to 45 minutes.
Onboard IV Therapy
Hydration, hangover, NAD, immunity, vitamin, and athletic-recovery drips administered onboard by a registered nurse. Charter parties, owner trips, pre-departure recoveries.
Pharmacy Provisioning & Delivery
Prescription medication, OTC essentials, sea-sickness kits, antibiotics with a physician's Rx, and basic emergency supplies couriered to the slip — including pre-charter provisioning lists.
Crew Nursing & Wound Care
RN-led wound care, injection administration, and post-injury monitoring for crew or guests, by the visit or by the day across a charter run.
How a marina dispatch works
The marina visit is coordinated tightly with the captain so the team boards smoothly and finishes before the next departure window.
- Reach the concierge. WhatsApp or call with the dock number, slip, boat name, and what you need. Captains can also book on behalf of a guest.
- We confirm and stage. A coordinator confirms timing, gives an arrival window, and texts the captain the name and arrival time of the doctor, nurse, or courier. Pharmacy orders move through our licensed pharmacy in parallel.
- We board. The team meets the captain or steward at the passerelle, completes the visit inside the salon, master cabin, or main saloon, and — for any prescription — coordinates dock-side delivery before disembarking.
Service area: IGY Marina Cabo San Lucas and outer slips
We routinely board at every section of the marina — Dock 1 through Dock 13, the IGY-managed Inner Basin and the outer charter slips along the breakwater, the sportfishing fleet area near Hacienda Beach Club, the tender drops in front of Solomon's Landing, and the megayacht moorings on the outer fingers.
We also dispatch to nearby properties that yacht guests use as a base — Hacienda Beach Club & Residences, Tesoro Los Cabos, Bahia Hotel & Beach Club, and short-term rentals along the marina walk. If your boat is anchored offshore and you tender in, we meet you at the landing or at any agreed property.
Tell us the dock and slip — or the boat name and captain — and we will confirm dispatch within minutes.
COFEPRIS-licensed, marina-aware care
Every physician we board is licensed in Mexico and works in English. Every registered nurse is board-certified. The pharmacy holds COFEPRIS authorization #05-022-B (printed on our home page). Prescriptions are issued in person, never in advance, and only by a licensed Mexican MD. Controlled substances are not stocked or dispatched on request.
For captains and crew, this matters: invoices are itemized and English-language, suitable for owner reimbursement, charter-trip log records, and crew insurance claims. We do not bill insurers directly; payment is at the time of service by card or transfer.
Care delivered to your slip, salon, or sundeck — within the hour
WhatsApp or call the concierge with your dock and slip number. Our team boards with the medication, IV kit, or doctor visit you need — boutique cruisers, sportfishers, megayachts, and tender launches all welcome.
Questions guests ask
- Can a doctor come directly to my boat in the marina?
- Yes. Our physicians regularly board sportfishers, sailing yachts, and megayachts directly at the dock — we coordinate boarding with the captain, dock master, or charter agent and complete the visit on board.
- How fast can you get to a slip at Marina Cabo San Lucas?
- Standard dispatch from downtown is 30 to 45 minutes for a physician and 30 to 60 minutes for an IV team. We prioritize urgent symptoms and crew injuries 24/7.
- Do you provision charter yachts before departure?
- Yes. We work from a captain or charter-agent provisioning list to deliver OTC essentials, sea-sickness kits, and prescription medication (when accompanied by a valid prescription or after a physician consultation) to the dock before the boat sails.
- Can crew members be treated the same way as guests?
- Yes. Many of our marina visits are crew injuries, post-charter recoveries, and pre-departure check-ups. We treat crew with the same standards and discretion.
- Do you bill the charter, the owner, or the guest directly?
- We issue an itemized English-language invoice to whichever party the captain or owner designates — guest, owner, charter manager, or insurer. Payment is at the time of service by card or transfer.
